Our Story: From Personal Experience to Purpose-Driven Innovation
Inspired by lived experience, Brain Mosaic is creating immersive AR adventures that help autistic children practise real-world social interactions, build confidence, and navigate everyday situations in their own unique way.
The Beginning
More than a decade ago, I began a journey that would change my life forever. As a mother of four, my eldest son was diagnosed with autism at a young age. Like many parents, I was filled with love, hope, and determination but also countless questions about what the future might hold.
I worried about the challenges he would face as he grew older. Would he feel confident navigating social situations? Would he be understood by others? Would he have the support he needed to thrive and live as independently as possible?
As the years passed, I saw firsthand both his incredible strengths and the obstacles that many autistic children encounter every day. I also discovered how limited the opportunities were for children to practise real-world social interactions in ways that felt engaging, safe, and accessible.
Those experiences stayed with me. They sparked a vision for something that could help bridge that gap not by changing who autistic children are, but by giving them a supportive space to learn, practise, and build confidence in their own way.
That vision would eventually become Brain Mosaic.
The Challenge
The challenges were constant and often overwhelming. When my son was just four years old, it became clear that the traditional education system was not equipped to meet his needs. Despite being bright, curious, and capable, he struggled to navigate the social demands of the classroom environment.
We moved him to a private school hoping for greater support, but the difficulties continued. I was frequently called to collect him early because the right understanding and accommodations simply weren’t in place. What began as occasional time away from work gradually became impossible to balance.
Eventually, I made the difficult decision to leave my career and dedicate myself to homeschooling him full-time.
During those years, I experienced firsthand the reality faced by many families of autistic children: finding support often felt like navigating a maze. While there were resources available, there were very few opportunities for children to safely practise the everyday social situations they would encounter in the real world.
That gap became impossible to ignore and it planted the seed for what would later become Brain Mosaic.
Our Mission: Building Confidence Through Practice
We believe autistic children deserve safe and engaging opportunities to practise real-world social skills.Brain Mosaic combines augmented reality, structured AI guidance, and game-based learning to help children build confidence, develop social communication skills, and navigate everyday situations in their own unique way.
We’re not here to change who children are—we’re here to help them feel more confident being themselves.

Why This Matters
Like many parents of autistic children, I often wondered what the future would look like for my son.
Brain Mosaic was created to help children build confidence through safe, engaging opportunities to practise real-world social situations and develop skills for everyday life.
What began as a personal journey has grown into a mission to help families everywhere because every parent hopes to see their child happy, confident, understood, and able to thrive.
Brain Mosaic is our contribution to that future.
